Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree being preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is required, along with demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is necessary, and experience in the commercial insurance industry is preferred. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are also preferred.
The Business Development Representative will contact brokers to explain program features and benefits, compile and relay information to close quotes, and maintain the producer marketing database. Responsibilities include facilitating product webinars, executing telephonic campaigns to secure agency appointments, and assisting with corporate communications, marketing, and advertising. The role also involves participating in industry trade shows, recommending and following up on promotions, developing referrals, and completing special projects as assigned.
