Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years of technology sales experience, preferably with a strong out-bounding bias. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, along with experience conducting business and building relationships via phone and email. Working knowledge of Google Apps, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Qualified, and other related technology is preferred. The ability to work independently across multiple time zones within the North America region is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative, you will generate qualified leads in defined regions for your assigned sales team, responsible for all outbound prospecting and inbound activity including phone calls, messaging outreach, and following up on marketing leads. You will create awareness and interest in Percona solutions, identify and communicate with key decision makers, deliver high-quality phone calls and emails, nurture and manage leads, set up sales appointments, document all activity in the CRM system, and use advanced prospecting strategies to break into enterprise accounts. You will also proactively seek out opportunities and demonstrate a ‘hunter’ mentality, a ‘never give up’ attitude, and a commitment to making a positive impact through your efforts.
