Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or cloud-based solutions
  • Proven success in closing complex enterprise deals
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention, identity verification, KYC, AML, and risk management
  • Experience working with banks, fintechs, telcos, or payment providers
  • Familiarity with South African and African compliance frameworks (e.g., POPIA, FSCA, SARB, FIC)
  • Ability to engage with senior executives and technical teams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (French or Portuguese is a plus)
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa and across Africa

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new clients across banking, fintech, telecom, e-commerce, and regulated gaming sectors
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing
  • Promote scalable, cloud-based SaaS and API-driven solutions for fraud prevention and identity verification
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for South Africa and emerging African markets
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and operational teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align priorities and achieve revenue goals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce CRM
  • Represent LexisNexis at industry events and forums
