Responsibilities

  • Attract, hire, retain, and develop talent to build an elite Business Development organization
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate an outbound-focused BDR/SDR team to hit and exceed pipeline generation targets
  • Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing feedback, and cultivate a culture of accountability and success
  • Refine and expand training and onboarding programs for new hires to accelerate ramp to productivity
  • Monitor team performance metrics using CRM and tools, and conduct effective one-on-ones for coaching and performance management
  • Oversee creation and execution of targeted outreach strategies, including email, phone, and social selling cadences
  • Utilize lead-generation technologies and ABM platforms to build precise, segmented prospect lists
  • Foster expertise in sales development best practices and continuously optimize outreach tactics
  • Develop and own KPIs, supervise team activity, track results, and drive execution based on metrics
  • Work cross-functionally to align messaging, campaigns, and offerings for maximum prospect engagement
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to align qualification criteria, improve lead handoff, and drive pipeline conversion
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop lead generation strategies, target account lists, messaging, sales development playbook, and processes
  • Facilitate communication between Business Development and Sales teams to ensure alignment and accelerate revenue growth
  • Own strategic execution of pipeline building initiatives supporting sales targets and growth plans
  • Drive innovation in sales development processes
