Requirements

Candidates should possess a professional salesperson background with an established career of achievement within an IT sales environment, demonstrating the ability to sell complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. They must be self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach, capable of managing time effectively, identifying key decision-makers, and understanding the dynamics of complex project sales. A willingness to travel and the ability to learn product benefits and solution sales concepts, including working with alliance vendors, are also required.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing current client accounts and driving new business development within Arrow ECS. This includes working with Arrow Account Management teams to identify potential reseller partners, build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and channel customers, execute successful business plans with channel partners, initiate and drive marketing campaigns, forecast opportunities, maximize margin opportunity, enable partners through sales training and technical support, and focus on distribution managed partners. They will also gain a high-level profile and trust within the partner base to ensure Arrow are brought in on larger projects.
