Requirements

  • Proven power generation industry experience with an understanding of gas to power and capacity markets
  • Understanding of power plants including prime running generators, combined heat and power, and balance of system
  • Understanding of UK & Ireland capacity markets and on-site power for data centers
  • Demonstrates current knowledge of the regulatory environment for industry segment
  • Self-motivated, intelligent, team-oriented, with high emotional intelligence, humility, and openness to discovery
  • Ability to work 5 days a week in the office when not travelling

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships with key prime gensets users, EPC, and engineering firms
  • Develop a robust pipeline for future sales of prime/continuously running power plants
  • Ensure assigned customers have a “positive experience”
  • Serve as the industry expert for Caterpillar’s genset portfolio in EAME & CIS
  • Identify gaps in product offerings and provide voice of customer back to product groups
  • Create go-to-market strategies to increase prime running generator sets sales
  • Lead projects to gain buy-in for these new market strategies
  • Lead all efforts related to establishing strong customer relationships, creating business leads and sales for new products (prime power), and associated balance of plant equipment (switchgear, enclosure, combined heat and power)
  • Plan, set, and achieve the business plan while driving overall sales and go-to-market strategies to promote the company’s products and services
