Requirements

  • Account Management experience in financial services where you have managed client or intermediary relationships, met targets, and supported financial products or services
  • An understanding of company accounts and financials (e.g., ability to interpret balance sheets and profit & loss statements)
  • Demonstrable ability to work to sales targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills. Confidence to pitch in front of a large audience
  • Based in the north of England (i.e. north of Sheffield) to visit brokers and intermediaries
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car insured for business use

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that broker/introducers experience a first-class service from Arkle
  • Be the primary point of contact for assigned Brokers/Introducers
  • Improve the quality of business introduced to Arkle and have a positive impact on quality of proposals, approval rates and conversion rates
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing panel of brokers/introducers
  • Regularly visit brokers/introducers and, where required, the end-user customers and dealers in line with sales plans, audit requirements, specific deals, etc. Some overnight stays may be required
  • Drive revenue by building and maintaining strong relationships with broker partners across the north of England
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate complex deals, and provide exceptional support to our broker network
