Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial, sales & marketing, and/or business management in the field of polymers for coatings, adhesives, sealants, composites, and/or formulated adhesives
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Strong understanding of business management principles and processes
  • Knowledge of industry and market trends, competitors, and customers in related business
  • Good understanding of chemicals in targeted segments: Coatings, PCBs, Powertrain Electronics, Power, and/or Aerospace

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company's Environment, Health, Safety policy, rules, and regulations
  • Achieve targets on Revenue, Profits, account receivables, DSO, and accurate sales forecast
  • Manage business in Coatings, Electronics, General Industries, and Aerospace; support new industries development
  • Facilitate smooth business operations in assigned countries
  • Collaborate with customers or channel partners to build C4C pipeline and realize new business via new accounts, new segments, new applications, new products, and expand geographic scope aligned with division's strategic focus
  • Co-drive new product launch and new application development
  • Support and formulate business plan towards successful execution and implementation of division and corporate strategic measures
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships for mutual benefits
  • Manage channel partners: (i) Set goals and targets for Distributors/Traders; (ii) Manage distributors’ performance; (iii) Build strong distributorship network in the region
  • Address and own Customers and Channel Managements' technical enquiries; escalate to internal stakeholders when applicable
  • Generate and deliver business and project reports, and customer meeting minutes as required
  • Engage with key internal colleagues (Operations, Marketing, finance, intra-region business community, supply chain, R&D) to complete business and operations tasks
