Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of related work experience. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in multiple systems, and intermediate math skills are required. Strong organizational, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and multi-tasking abilities are essential, along with effective communication skills in person, on the phone, and electronically. English proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is necessary. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of experience in an office, healthcare, or call center environment, and experience with multi-line phone systems.
The Branch Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for in-person patients and handle inbound calls from customers, providing information, troubleshooting issues, and escalating concerns as needed. Responsibilities include processing new orders, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, monitoring faxes, performing data entry, and gathering necessary documentation for billing health insurance plans. The role involves collecting payments, reconciling receivables, performing outbound customer satisfaction calls, and potentially conducting downloads and functional tests on respiratory equipment. Other duties as required will also be performed.
