Active Washington medical license
Active clinical practice
Board certification in one of the following specialties: Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry), Chiropractic, Pain Management, or Otolaryngology
Certified for Independent Medical Exams (IME)

Responsibilities

Accept cases on a contract basis (1099) as individual schedule permits
Review all provided medical records
Conduct in-person physical exams at the Bellevue clinic
Complete a report addressing each clinical question and concern, utilizing AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition
Provide the report promptly post-exam and return cases on or before the specified due date and time
Complete peer-to-peer calls or call attempts as required by client protocol to obtain additional information or clarifications
Perform other duties as assigned, including providing clarifications, addendums (with additional compensation), and responding to quality assurance, complaints, or regulatory issues
