Requirements

Candidates must be board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, ideally possessing five state licenses, including one from Texas, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois, North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia, Ohio, or Massachusetts. A minimum of two years of post-residency experience is required, along with prior telemedicine experience.

Responsibilities

The Virtual Physician will conduct consultations both synchronously and asynchronously, adhering to state telemedicine regulations, evaluating patient records, diagnosing and prescribing medication, and making lifestyle recommendations. They will also provide care using the company's custom EMR, answer patient questions, and follow best practices and company policies for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation.
