Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed the territory sales plan by maintaining existing business, developing incremental business, new accounts, and market segments
  • Produce and follow a relevant call cycle for the territory, making 15+ customer calls per week
  • Set up and coordinate technical seminars with internal customers
  • Collaborate with marketing and/or technical sales specialists
  • Provide product and relevant information to customers via daily phone contact and personal visits to generate sales
  • Actively participate in internal product training and external scientific community activities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records on the company CRM
  • Acquire and report information on market trends, competitive promotions, and other activities
  • Identify key accounts in the defined territory important for sales growth
  • Develop, write, and implement a strategic plan for the assigned territory annually, updated quarterly
  • Sell and promote all products represented by Biosciences Division (e.g., Sample Preparation, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Imaging, Cell and Gene Therapy products)
  • Coordinate existing accounts in Western Australia and prospect for new business to drive sales growth
