Physical capability for moderately active work, including walking and standing for considerable lengths of time, bending down to floor level, and handling physical tasks (with two-person assist and equipment for heavier loads available)

Responsibilities

Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards, providing outstanding service to external and internal customers
Develop and maintain effective relationships through timely communication, taking initiative to respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues
Maintain, test, and repair water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, medical equipment, testing equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems per manufacturer recommendations and FMCNA procedures
Document all maintenance and repairs
Conduct and document safety checks and routine tasks timely per established procedures
Perform housekeeping checks, follow up on issues, and ensure areas are safe, clean, with maintained environmental integrity and aesthetics
Clean and disinfect water treatment equipment
Maintain and calibrate all testing equipment
Conduct building maintenance as needed
Coordinate medical waste disposal
Collect, organize, and restock supplies; assist in ordering, receiving disposable supplies, creating SAP purchase orders, and conducting monthly/quarterly inventory with cost reporting
Evaluate and report current equipment inventory to appropriate sources
Ensure visibility to patients with daily walk-throughs during treatments (when possible), reinforce UltraCare™ and customer service, be available for patient questions/concerns, and provide instructive tours of water treatment equipment as requested
Process water and dialysate samples per procedures and package for shipping
Participate in completion and documentation of ongoing technical QAPI activities
Provide assistance at other facilities/acute programs, transport equipment/supplies as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
