Candidates should possess an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with Revit. A passion for advancing Building Information Modeling (BIM) & Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) technology is expected, along with knowledge of COBie standards and understanding of design and construction processes.
The BIM Manager will train staff in BIM standards and best practices, enhance BIM standards and processes by working with department BIM leaders, automate tasks and augment design and documentation processes with Dynamo, coding, and AI tools, assist project teams with complex Revit setup and modeling requirements, troubleshoot Revit project issues, manage the Revit detail and family library and build custom Revit content, implement BIM/VDC processes throughout the project lifecycle such as visualization, modeling, virtual mock-ups, model-based take-offs and estimating, 3D clash coordination, logistics, and 4D staging diagrams, research and develop new ways to utilize BIM to enhance projects, and optionally join the drone team as a pilot for project photography and photogrammetry.
