Twilio is seeking a Billing Operations Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual passionate about billing and pricing from a business perspective, who embodies the Twilio Magic. The ideal candidate is a champion of process improvement, possesses zealous attention to detail, good judgment, and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an Operations role.
  • Strong experience in Billings / Revenue / Order to Cash.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid experience working with large volume transactions with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel user (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, handling large raw data sets).
  • Third level qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a Business-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • E-invoicing experience for Mexico.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to perform periodic weekend work.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with Oracle and Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Revenue Team external customer email, responding to customer and other external queries promptly.
  • Onboard customers to Twilio’s internal billing system and Financial ERP system.
  • Gather and format large raw data sets to assist with customer billing reporting and queries.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including:
    • Managing and tracking recurring billing and approvals.
    • Tracking and application of customer credits.
    • Analysis of revenue-related balance sheet accounts.
    • Ad hoc customer financial reporting.
  • Assist and participate in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes surrounding revenue and invoicing.
  • Participate in external and internal audits as requested.
