Active Cosmetology/Esthetician license, displayed during all working hours as mandated by the state
Licensed to provide ear-piercing services in all stores and perform all other applicable services offered in any location worked
Successfully pass assessments of proficiency before performing services in store
Sales-oriented with passion for the beauty industry and commitment to top-notch customer experience
Strong verbal skills for personalized sales, upselling, suggestive selling, and stimulating customer conversations
Product knowledge as a brand expert to answer questions and maximize sales
Ability to manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services, and walk-in clients
Compliance with CVS sanitation, hazardous waste disposal policies, hygiene standards, and professional appearance guidelines
Completion of ongoing sales, brand, and paid service execution training in a timely manner
Plugged-in to latest beauty trends and techniques as a beauty enthusiast

Responsibilities

Seek out customers to provide world-class beauty advisor experience, including personalized sales service based on needs, upselling, and suggestive selling
Engage customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, in-store events, and promotions to close sales of products and services
Represent CVS and partner brands, upholding highest standards of service
Provide ear-piercing services and all other applicable paid beauty services offered in the location
Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage, highlighting features and benefits to drive purchase conversion
Create and maintain product displays, special promotional materials in support of brand, corporate, and local advertising
Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and/or events
Maintain assigned area well-stocked, well-merchandised, beautiful, and clean for positive shopping and service experience
Ensure timely and compliant execution of CVS sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies
Maintain professional colleague appearance at all times
