Strong communication, interpersonal, and business acumen skills are essential, as is proficiency in basic computer applications and an aptitude for learning new technology like CRM systems. Resilience, self-motivation, and a curious, coachable attitude are also necessary.
The Business Development Representative will proactively identify and engage prospects through outbound prospecting activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling. They will qualify inbound leads, conduct engaging conversations to understand business challenges and communicate value, and research target accounts to create outreach strategies. Responsibilities include creating a qualified pipeline for Account Executives, maintaining accurate CRM records, collaborating with sales teams, meeting targets for qualified opportunities, and continuously learning about products and refining outreach techniques.
