This role provides technical cloud advisory and leadership to the customer base, operating as part of the “Operations Team” (Tier 2).

Requirements

• Certification: Must hold an active AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Certification.
• Experience: Significant cloud engineering experience is required.

Responsibilities

Operations Team

• Serve as team lead for a Web Collaboration Tool.
• Develop a user reference library for Amazon Web Services (AWS), including quality control.
• Develop a system administration reference guide and continuously monitor standard operating procedures for Amazon Web Services (AWS), including quality control.
• Assist with development within multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
• Collaborate with Agency Security on services and permissions for newly released services within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Analyze mission requests and direct accordingly.
• Follow standard operating procedures to identify and troubleshoot network issues for immediate resolution.
• Perform troubleshooting activities and resolve system issues within Amazon Web Services (AWS) across multiple environments.

Architecture Team

• Assist with future requests for services within multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
• Conduct research and development of new processes for the team and users.
• Collaborate with Agency Security on services and permissions for new released services within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
