Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years for AVP or 10+ years for VP of relevant experience in asset management, an insurance company, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. Experience with Geneva and/or Clearwater is advantageous. A proven history of managing investment operations teams and complex transformation projects is required, along with a solid understanding of Fixed Income asset classes and derivatives instruments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office, with VBA and Visio experience being beneficial. The ability to work independently to solve complex problems is also necessary. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
The Assistant Vice President / VP will oversee Investment Operations teams supporting a substantial real estate portfolio, including commercial and residential mortgages and equity. Responsibilities include managing asset setup for new securities and structured transactions, coordinating with the Portfolio Management team, and building infrastructure in investment management platforms. The role involves setting up SPVs, managing the funding and settlement of deal flow, overseeing ongoing asset lifecycle management, and reviewing cash and asset movements. Additionally, the position requires interfacing with and managing relationships with third-party servicers and coordinating activities with various internal departments such as Investment Accounting and Risk. The individual will also be responsible for identifying process enhancements, developing implementation programs, and supervising, training, and mentoring direct reports.
