  • Review and complete ADU policies, training, SOPs, and Driver Safety policies yearly
  • Maintain full compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
  • Highest professional and ethical standards
  • Alert management for maintenance issues
  • Pharmacy Technician skills for non-sterile/sterile compounding, medication preparation (measure, mix, count, label, record), and handling controlled/DEA medications

Responsibilities

  • ADU operation, appearance/cleanliness, and quick reference guide replacement (70%)
  • Restocking/destocking ADUs with medications at Omnicare serviced facilities
  • Completing monthly medication audits of ADUs (inspect/verify quantity, expiration, damage)
  • ADU software and user database maintenance
  • Review ADU reports for discrepancies, errors, and dispensing data
  • Train facility staff on ADU operation as needed
  • Support coordination of new ADU installations (pharmacy/facility readiness, initial inventory, user setup)
  • Troubleshoot ADU issues with facilities and pharmacy
  • Log deliveries and return accompanying documents
  • Keep facility ADUs at optimal levels by providing product and monitoring inventory
  • Act as customer service/liaison representative, facilitating client relationships and providing ongoing support
  • Partner with supervisor to coordinate workflow for medication preparation/processing (20%)
  • Follow policies/procedures for non-sterile/sterile compounding and assembly
  • Prepare medications per prescription orders, including Narcotic/controlled STAT prescriptions
  • Perform compliance tasks for DEA/controlled medication dispensing
  • Assist with workflow coordination
  • Ensure/maintain safe and clean work environment
  • Rotate/work in assigned pharmacy workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Cycle Fill, Machine)
