Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job to perform essential functions (reasonable accommodations may be made)

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's DBS products and services within an assigned geographic area (San Diego, CA; Houston, TX; Denver, CO) and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, nurses, audiologists, hospital administrators, and practice managers
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic's DBS products and/or services
  • Provide support and service to clinical personnel related to the products in a surgical environment
  • Promote and establish education on the company's products and/or services
  • Conduct market research including customers' and competitors' activities
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, develop new customer relationships, implement sales strategies, and close sales
  • Achieve individual sales targets by selling lower complexity products/services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts
