  • Greater Los Angeles area

Note: This role is field-based. Candidates must reside in the assigned territory and be able to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support territory sales activities to drive overall revenue numbers for the region, with a focus on specific product lines.
  • Provide product in-service training for the Patient Support Systems portfolio (Smartbeds, surfaces & other medical devices) in a hospital setting to support product optimization.
  • Ensure educational programs meet corporate and customer goals, acting as a liaison between the team and customers.
  • Work directly alongside the sales team and customers, communicating with internal partners and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in delivery/implementation planning activities (customer meetings, conference calls, WebEx training, etc.).
  • Utilize Salesforce to drive new sales opportunities and maintain existing business.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas assigned by the corporation.
  • Lead all aspects of the installation of new products post-delivery to customers.
  • Engage with the install base and existing customers for incremental purchases, pricing/delivery issues, and overall support to improve their experience.
  • Provide account management support by identifying potential or actual customer complaints/issues and acting as a liaison between the sales team and customer to reach problem resolution.
  • Establish an understanding of the portfolio’s competitive differentiation to assist customers in product selection.
  • Ensure clinical adoption across the product portfolio through product trialing, demonstrations, and in-servicing.
  • Schedule and complete customer sales calls quotas and follow up on opportunities to develop the business.
  • Assist with the setup of product demonstrations for customers as requested.
  • Provide input on new markets and products, handle customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
  • Support site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms, as necessary.
  • Record activities and contacts within Salesforce.com, ensuring all information remains current and detailed.
