Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Engineering, Chemistry, or Supply Chain Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in Direct Procurement (Chemical industry experience is a plus)
Strong Negotiation and Contract Management skills
Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good English language skills both oral and written (mandatory)
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to reduce raw material costs while maintaining quality and supply reliability
Apply the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tool and skill to execute sourcing initiatives
Work and collaborate with the Regional Category team to execute global/regional sourcing strategies
Ensure consistent supply-ability and resolve unforeseen shortages with timely reasonable contingency plans
Engage in cross-functional collaboration to execute the best sourcing strategies driving savings, resiliency, and operational efficiency improvement
Understand Indonesia market insights, commodity price tendencies, and determine appropriate procurement tactics for strategic raw materials, packaging, etc
Develop updated procurement procedures and manage existing suppliers’ agreements or commercial proposals
Source alternative sources that contribute to saving value, supply security, and recommend the best preferred supplier(s) for Ecolab
Continuously utilize market intelligence tools and monitor market information and feedstock trends within direct categories
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities such as cost savings to management
Develop Continuous Improvement Programs on a yearly basis
Ensure full corporate procurement compliance and ethics with all applicable regulatory standards
Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Conduct (COC) policy
