Requirements

MSc/BE in Electronics or Instrumentation; Specialization in Analytical Instrumentation
6-8 years of relevant experience in Lifesciences or related industry
In-depth understanding of analytical instrumentation in research, specific to mass spectrometry
Hands-on experience with instruments like CE, Mass Spec, HPLC, etc
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Flexibility to travel frequently at short notice

Responsibilities

Conduct service, repair, and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts
Diagnose system failures and determine the most cost-effective solution
Escalate complex issues to a higher level of technical support or quality reporting system
Develop new customer service/product agreements
Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory
Maintain and install SCIEX products (Capillary Electrophoresis, LC, and Mass Spectrometer Instruments) at internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts
Complete and successfully pass assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities
Perform high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance on mass spec instruments
Perform IQ/OQ and other qualification products, including training
Perform preventive maintenance on select products
