Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management, Business, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) or related field preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in construction project management with thorough understanding of the building design and construction process
  • Significant experience in the Luxury Living/High End Residential Sector
  • Previous experience in managing high-net-worth client relationships
  • Construction management experience related to base building, commercial, cultural, life sciences, corporate fit-out and/or developer work, including site construction
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Nitro), and project management platforms such as Procore or equivalent
  • Local support with approximately 4-5 days on-site in Los Angeles, subject to client needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee complex, high-value luxury single-family residential projects from inception to completion
  • Direct the A team for architecturally significant one-of-a-kind projects
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to project teams
  • Act as primary client liaison, managing executive-level relationships
  • Drive financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage risk, compliance, quality, and contractual obligations
  • Shape project strategy, planning, procurement, and value engineering
  • Review and approve key project documentation and contracts
  • Lead negotiation and resolution of disputes and changes
  • Champion team development and training
  • Support business development and growth initiatives
