Requirements

Candidates should possess a general understanding of the institutional investment marketplace and have 3+ years of experience working with consultants and/or institutional clients. Experience with various institutional client types such as Pension, Taft-Hartley, Endowments, Foundations, and Healthcare is required. A BA/BS degree, preferably in a related field, is necessary, along with the willingness to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses. The ideal candidate is an effective team player with high self-motivation, integrity, and ethics.

Responsibilities

The Associate will achieve sales goals by aligning consultant needs and client opportunities with BlackRock's capabilities. They will be a key contributor in developing deep partnerships with consultants, characterized by access and influence. Responsibilities include supporting the management of the research agenda and servicing for the assigned coverage universe, partnering with investment and client partner teams to drive new business and maintain existing relationships, and guiding and contributing to the career development of other team members.
