Position Overview

Join NielsenIQ’s Retail Collaboration Team and be at the forefront of transforming the partnership between CPGs and retailers. Our team leverages NielsenIQ’s proprietary datasets and cutting-edge solutions to drive business growth. As an Associate Client Director, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients harness the full potential of our innovative technology and platform. In this role, you will engage with clients to immerse them in our platforms, ensuring a seamless experience. You will provide exceptional support and client service, addressing their needs and fostering long-term relationships. You will be the voice of the customer, ensuring our product roadmap is aligned with our clients’ needs and to support all initiatives to grow our client engagements. You will be a champion of Retail Collaboration to our clients and within NielsenIQ.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts across collaboration programs. This includes the ability to elevate client relationships and expand business engagement.
  • Skilled and polished communicator, adept at handling client issues swiftly and continually delivering value to clients.
  • Train and consult clients to conduct analytics using NIQ tools and datasets. This includes providing consultative support on best practices for leveraging customer and other analytical insights into CPG clients’ routines (such as category reviews, joint business planning, assortment rationalization and product innovation).
  • Work cross-functionally with internal NIQ teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that represent the needs of the clients.
  • Play a supporting role in business development for prospective clients as a subject matter expert of retail collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio of collaboration programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or relevant experience.
  • 5-7+ years in the CPG industry or related fields such as sales, category management, market research, or analytics.
  • Strong consultative client skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in managing complex client relationships.
  • Familiarity with Voice of the Customer (VOC) and all elements of customer success principles.
  • Understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services and solutions.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Python or other coding languages is preferred.
  • Experience with CPG/FMCG data sources and datasets is preferred.
