Requirements

Candidates must possess computer skills for navigating multiple programs like Gmail, MS Word/Google Docs, and Excel. US work authorization is required. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in non-English languages relevant to the community, 3 years of manager/team leader experience, 2 years of experience and a proven track record in a Patient Relations Analyst or similar role, a problem-solving orientation with a flexible and positive attitude, experience with and support for older adults, experience helping patients navigate the healthcare system (especially Medicare and Managed Care), proficient PC skills with CRM experience preferred, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

The Associate Patient Relations Manager will build, lead, and motivate a Patient Relations Analyst team to achieve patient growth and retention goals. This role involves being an expert on Medicare, insurance, and benefits, supporting staff, and filling in for team members when needed. Responsibilities include training PRAs on service recovery and complex patient interactions, ensuring PRAs execute core duties like meeting targets, conducting the "Welcome Visit" and orientation, assisting patients with Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care questions, serving as a clinic expert on insurance, helping patients resolve medical bills, delivering an outstanding patient experience, assisting patients with public benefits applications, and supporting the Regional Vice President in regional operations and metric communication.
