Requirements

Bachelor Degree from an accredited vocational or academic institution in Project Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
Familiarity with project management practices, methods, and techniques (preferred)
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat
General knowledge of high voltage substations or transmission lines (preferred)
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills and customer service skills

Responsibilities

Effectively manage projects, scopes, and schedules to ensure successful completion to customers’ expectations
Work with assigned Project Manager to maximize quality, efficiency, and safety, delivering projects on time and to satisfaction
Support vision/business objectives, goals, strategies, and measures by communicating and obtaining buy-in from team members
Encourage continuous improvement of project management processes and systems, and communicate results to the team
Strive for excellence in tasks and goals, maintain focus and perseverance, use time efficiently, and respond to opportunities and challenges
Work with Project Manager to build, implement, and communicate quality standards, and learn/follow DTPS quality standards
Develop long-term customer and vendor relationships, alliances, and partnerships with Project Manager and team
Expand expertise in High Voltage Electrical Substation industry, be adaptable and agile, and seek leadership/coaching for growth and development
Learn all aspects of assigned projects including schedule, customer/vendor relations, equipment procurement, and engineering/project team communications
