Job Title: Commercial Attorney & Manager, Legal - Alliances

Position Overview

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a seasoned commercial attorney and manager to join its legal team. This role is pivotal in supporting licensing and partnership deals across all global channels, alliances, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor with a player/coach mindset, capable of managing and scaling an alliance legal team to support the company's rapid growth and drive deal closure. Strong business acumen, creativity, and the ability to accelerate business while mitigating risk are essential.

Location: Remote USA; West Coast preferred.

What You'll Do

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of attorneys, ensuring high performance and alignment with the company's strategic alliances goals.
• Deal Negotiation & Drafting: Actively participate in negotiating and drafting complex licensing and partnership agreements as needed.
• Strategic Counsel: Provide strategic legal counsel on business initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks while actively driving business forward.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (alliances, operations, finance, etc.) to develop processes, establish new partner programs, and drive deal closure.

What You'll Need

• Experience:
  • 10+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role in-house.
  • Proven experience negotiating and drafting complex channel and partner agreements within the SaaS sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to balance legal risks with business goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability.
• Education:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
