Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical, business or financial field
9+ years of working as a product manager on technology-powered product teams
Working knowledge of modern techniques in product discovery and delivery
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and deep technical discussions
Experience using Business Intelligence dashboards and tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
3+ years of formal people management experience managing other product managers
Ability to work in a matrix organization

Responsibilities

Lead several product managers who solve hard problems for customers and the business
Work closely with engineering and design as key product leaders for execution, shipping, and maintenance of digital products
Set the mid-term (1-2 year) vision of a product portfolio, including how they produce business outcomes
Cultivate an environment of understanding the products
Manage the full product life cycle from strategic planning, building and execution, maintenance and support to end of life retirement
Set product objectives and key results
Align engineering and design teams around common goals based on shipping product features
Provide high-level direction on roadmaps illustrating epics and features across a product portfolio and integration with cross-functional efforts
Gather higher-level, complex product requirements and maintain general understanding/knowledge of responsible products
Review and validate requirements gathered within the team
Identify and validate problems/opportunities for multiple user groups/scenarios across the company
Align stakeholders and document high-level business requirements or manage vendor relationships, RFPs, or POCs
Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners (engineering, marketing, design, sales) for smooth product activities
Set long-term goals for products and team members
Help teams track progress against Key Results and balance priorities with corporate initiatives or new products
Foster an engaging environment encouraging accountability and development
Break down barriers for individual and team accountability
Align employees' passions to business value outcomes
Build a culture of data-driven decisions influencing business, engineering, and other stakeholders
