Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum 4 years of experience in the medical services industry; OR military education program (equivalent) and a minimum 4 years of experience in the medical services industry; OR an Associate’s degree and a minimum 6 years of experience in the medical services industry; OR a High School Diploma
  • Reside in the service area (Tampa Metro and surrounding area)
  • Ability to travel locally to customer sites 2-3 days a week or as business dictates

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, or coverage area
  • Responsible for knowledge of assigned region, coverage area, or product lines, their associated configuration installations, and represents the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer
  • Establish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic region or coverage area
  • Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline
  • Manage all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property, including all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering
  • Lead a team of Field Service Engineers, including direct people management responsibility such as hiring, staffing, and performance development
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy
  • Use knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; be aware of the competition and differentiating factors
  • Use judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
  • Use technical experience and analytical thinking, and multiple internal and limited external sources to arrive at decisions
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
  • Explain information; develop skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field; convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues
  • Function with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results; modify procedures and practices as long as end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)
