Requirements

The Area Sales Manager (Kothrud) at PhonePe requires experience in driving merchant network growth, acquiring and servicing merchants, and managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) or Retail Transaction Leaders (RTLs). Strong skills in market analysis, competition monitoring, and ROI management are also expected.

Responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for accelerating PhonePe’s presence in the offline space by driving merchant acquisition and servicing within an assigned geographical area, managing a team of 8-10 BDEs/RTLs, conducting audits and reviews to ensure quality of execution, meeting with merchants to present products and manage escalations, monitoring competition, and driving acquisition and winback productivity to ensure a positive return on investment. They will also be responsible for ensuring payout closure and obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from merchants.
