Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary leader for restaurants and specialty coffee bars in assigned geography
  • Role models and upholds Nordstrom Values throughout assigned geography, using them as a filter for key decisions with good judgment
  • Develops and maintains a high-performing management team that consistently delivers results
  • Develops internal pipeline of talent for leadership roles
  • Actively supports restaurant and specialty coffee bar leaders in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for employees
  • Consistently assesses and supports leaders in maintaining a food-safe and pest-free environment
  • Supports leaders in creating an environment where internal and external customers feel welcomed
  • Provides timely and consistent performance conversations and accountability to restaurant general managers and specialty coffee bar managers
  • Directly accountable for profit and loss statements of restaurants and specialty coffee bars in assigned geography
  • Analyzes KPIs for assigned portfolio and supports leaders in creating action plans to advance business
  • Supports leaders to consistently execute restaurant group priorities and meet or exceed financial plans and goals
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with store and region-level business partners
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, marketing, events, visual, construction, facilities) to support operations
  • Partners with HR team to investigate and resolve employee relations issues
  • Plans time and travel effectively (3-4 days weekly) for intentional visits supporting leaders
  • Offices from assigned home store location
  • Collaborates with Nordstrom culinary and specialty coffee teams to execute strategy
