Requirements

Ideally a successfully completed degree in the field of facility management, mechanical or electrical engineering or alternatively with a business or technical specialization
Ideally several years of experience in leading technical teams
Pronounced technical and maintenance expertise
Profound knowledge of German and English language
Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation, plumbing and electrical engineering
Very good communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Experience in evaluating performance requirements and setting priorities
Well-developed understanding of contractual processes
Experience in defining and specifying performance expectations to manage supplier performance
Good knowledge of the operation of mechanical and electrical systems as well as plant equipment and building services equipment

Responsibilities

Maintain technical building equipment and material handling equipment in the Wiesbaden European Road Network HUB
Manage a local team of technicians and a maintenance planner
Lead and develop a team of technicians to ensure facility and material handling maintenance
Support operational continuity by providing effective services or solutions for maintenance and repair for operational facilities and equipment
Ensure service providers comply with contractual agreements
Lead defined local initiatives to improve maintenance solution concepts (synergies, methods, planning, etc.)
Advise and support all management levels as well as less experienced colleagues
Plan, schedule and control annual building services maintenance
Coordinate the processing and follow-up of fault and downtime reports
Develop maintenance concepts and their execution at the sites
Process and present maintenance key figures, costs and their sustainability on a monthly basis
Assist the regional and local Operations Department by elaborating and implementing technical solutions
