Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities comply with FMC Code of Conduct
  • Establish and engage sales team per market requirements and customer coverage
  • Attract, appoint, induct, lead, and retain performers in the territory
  • Assign KRAs to individuals
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales and service programs
  • Plan and develop sales strategies to meet company sales objectives
  • Travel extensively to build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and distributors
  • Develop customer base for market expansion, especially for key products
  • Generate new business from existing clients and resolve substantial unanswered issues within SLAs/timelines
  • Ensure substantial new product introductions to key accounts and revenue increase via cross-selling
  • Retain and protect customer accounts from competitors
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine sales efforts focus
  • Confer with potential customers on equipment needs and advise on purchases
  • Monitor overall state/territory performance and ensure product-wise business targets are achieved
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and profitability
  • Prepare budgets and approve expenditures
  • Handle distributor appointment, development, and evaluation
  • Conduct business development orientation programs and regular training for zone team members
  • Conduct monthly sales review meetings for scrutiny and analysis
