Responsibilities

The Architectural CAD Drafter will produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details based on designs provided by architects and designers. They will utilize CAD software proficiently to create and modify drawings according to project requirements. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and team members to ensure drawings meet project objectives and specifications, as well as coordinating with other disciplines to integrate various components into architectural drawings. They will prepare and maintain drawing sets, manage revisions and updates throughout the design and construction process, and conduct quality control reviews for errors and inconsistencies. Effective communication with team members, clients, and contractors to clarify design intent and address feedback is also required, along with ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
