Job Description: AR Center Team Lead

Employment Type: Full time

Pay Range: $20.36 - $30.54

Position Overview

The AR Center Team Lead supports the AR Center Supervisor as a technical expert. This role is primarily responsible for the support and guidance of the AR team's timely and comprehensive evaluation of credit risks, completeness of credit monitoring, and effective follow-up on and collection of delinquent accounts. Additionally, the Team Lead ensures that disputes are resolved. The AR Center Team Lead may also provide support for cash application and the keying of adjustments as needed.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provides daily direction, in accordance with the AR Center Supervisor, to communicate with employees, ensuring AR center documentation is entered in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Provides continual evaluation of processes and procedures.
  • Provides performance feedback and guidance on a regular basis to each team member.
  • Ensures employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs.
  • Assists with creating and maintaining a high-quality work environment to motivate team members to perform at their highest level.
  • Assists the Supervisors with daily operations of the AR Center.
  • Works as a member/leader of special or ongoing projects that are important to area/process improvement.
  • Shares continual observations on employees, ensuring all assignments are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns.
  • Responsible for the integrity of data entered in the Webcollect system, applying expertise and caution to ensure accordance with relevant regulations, local requirements, and Company policies.
  • Monitors activities and task lists while following department processes and documenting appropriately.
  • Recognizes one-off situations that may negatively impact the process flow, causing delays or the need for process changes. Communicates suggested process changes to management.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Infopro and Salesforce system applications and how they are utilized by the AR Center.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Excel.
  • Minimum of 1 year of credit, collections, and/or cash application experience.
