Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software is required. Strong experience working with clients and technology partners, comfort engaging multiple decision-makers, exceptional presentation skills, and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. The role also requires self-motivation, a self-starter attitude, and a willingness to travel.
The Sales Engineer will uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, articulating Cohesity technology to business and technical users. They will enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into their production environments, develop secondary storage technology strategy for key customers and partners, and communicate Cohesity's vision through demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals. Responsibilities also include identifying customer needs, crafting proof of concepts, collaborating with product management to convey customer requirements, and providing project management and post-sales technical support.
