Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience developing production-grade machine learning models, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Python. Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including experimental design, optimization, and causal inference is required, as well as experience with technical mentorship of other applied scientists.

Responsibilities

The Applied Scientist will initiate and drive applied science initiatives to completion with a focus on business impact, architect and deploy machine learning systems to production, design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data to characterize the product and marketing, analyze a wide variety of data, collaborate with engineering, marketing, and economists, maintain a balance between speed of execution and scientific rigor, and provide technical mentorship to other applied scientists.
