Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering or other technical fields
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Chemical and Oil & Gas industry with solid domain knowledge in the relevant industry and commercial experience
  • Very high degree of customer orientation
  • Strong self-drive and ability to create mindshare by being seen as a thought leader
  • Intermediate level of expertise on our/equivalent products portfolios
  • Intermediate level of expertise in Training

Responsibilities

  • Provide domain expertise on industry/segment requirements and understand customers and their business challenges
  • Deliver talks around emerging industry/segment trends, their relevance for customers, associated business benefits, and how Rockwell can help achieve these outcomes
  • Deliver initial plant walks and initiate consulting services to drive customer outcomes (productivity/OEE/Optimization/ROI)
  • Support sales in building C-level engagement for target accounts by driving business outcome discussions and advising on necessary ecosystems to deliver outcomes
  • Act as single contact for global Industry to launch and support key company initiatives (Strategic accounts/Process/CE/CS etc.) and interface on critical projects
  • Coordinate with Marketing and participate in industry forums and tradeshows, including speaking engagements and delivering white papers
  • Coordinate with Market Access and support SI/Partner's enablement (training and credentialing) through industry domain knowledge
  • Coordinate with Market Access and sales to identify gaps in industry coverage and identify partners to fill those gaps
  • Provide industry insights and value proposition to marketing/sales enablement for competency development (C-level messaging/playbooks)
  • Deliver knowledge sharing through Industry affinity team calls through Marketing
  • Provide industry performance insights during QPR
  • Coordinate with Sales leadership and support Industry influenced accounts in the region (focused and strategic) and their C-level relationships to develop them as future potential Enterprise accounts
  • Advise business units/marketing to identify and build industry repeatable applications/solutions
  • Support marketing to build Industry BSR and definition of winning across the region; and monitor execution
  • Support Business units and provide insight on solution and technology gaps
  • Support sales teams in articulating outcome-based messages to the “C suite” at customers
  • Partner with regional marketing and sub-regional leadership teams on jointly creating short/mid-term strategy
  • Partner with regional functions (MA/Commercial ops) for enhancing RA's coverage and competency in the segment/industry
  • Support key company/regional initiatives, working closely with the global Industry leadership team
