Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ year of electrical or electronics experience or experience in a related field
  • Able to follow wiring diagrams and solder wires to assemblies
  • Experience using multi-meters, meg-ohm meters, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments
  • Hands-on experience with installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electromechanical parts
  • Ability to obtain a passport within 90 days and flexibility to travel international and domestic 5% of the time
  • Ability to work on-call and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform inspections of electromechanical assemblies
  • Assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment
  • Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation
  • Identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques
  • Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
  • Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures
