Candidates must hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and possess at least three years of experience as an ML/AI/LLM Engineer or AI Scientist, ideally within a Software Engineering context. Strong research experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering is required, along with familiarity with generative AI technologies such as GPT-4 and BedRock.
The AI Research Engineer will conduct applied research to integrate AI/LLM techniques with software engineering practices, designing and implementing experimental prototypes to demonstrate feasibility, training and fine-tuning LLMs, and preparing, analyzing, and preprocessing large datasets of code. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into practical applications, stay informed about advancements in AI/ML and software engineering, participate in code reviews, and implement best practices for codebase maintenance, testing, and documentation.
