Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Required experience includes over 10 years in the field, or 7 years with a Master's degree, or 2 years with a Ph.D. Preferred qualifications include experience in building and deploying Machine Learning solutions with various algorithms and Python programming, expertise in IT use cases and AI/ML platforms, model productionization, and CICD automation. A strong understanding of Machine Learning techniques, feature analysis, algorithm selection, and model hyperparameter tuning is necessary. Experience with senior executive engagement, architecture practices and frameworks (business, application, data, security, infrastructure, governance), NLP/NLG, AI Conversational Agents, Generative AI, and software development lifecycles are also preferred. Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure Databricks, CloudDBs, reviewing/selecting technical and application architectures, and certifications/specializations in AI/ML, LLMs, and Cloud platforms are beneficial. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills are required, along with preferred team leadership and mentorship experience.
The AI/Machine Learning Engineer will lead AI/ML platform and engineering strategy, including Generative AI and Advanced Analytics, and drive alignment on architecture adoption and realization in partnership with business leaders. They will provide thought leadership and technical advice to leadership, develop technical architecture standards and guidelines based on industry trends, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build production-level models and pipelines. Responsibilities also include optimizing AI/ML processes, assisting with model performance monitoring with the operations team, communicating technical solutions to non-IT stakeholders, and facilitating product selection aligned with architectural standards.
