Job Details

The Associate Sales Ambassador (ASA) is responsible for driving profitable growth by increasing sales production and strengthening relationships with existing agencies. This role collaborates within the Openly sales organization to support onboarding, penetrate accounts, enable rapid product adoption, increase sales productivity, and maintain account retention.

Key Responsibilities

Exceptional Agency Results:

  • Drive exceptional results with agency partners in terms of quality, growth, and retention.
  • Provide feedback on rates, underwriting, and risk classifications in local markets to product, underwriting, and other ASM partners.
  • Achieve key named account targets.

Be Loved:

  • Engage with agencies frequently (>120/month) in ways that delight them.
  • Increase policies sold per agent, agent engagement, agent NPS, retention, and book quality.
  • Administer incentives and contests to drive profitable sales growth.

Day-to-day activities:

  • Engage with agents 120 times per month via digital channels (phone calls, Zoom meetings, video messages, texts, etc.) to drive profitable growth.
  • Move agents within segments to higher quality and quantity of production.
  • Collaborate and execute with market peers (Sr ASM/ASM/Insurance Product) to improve agency results.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of inside sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding KPIs through a consultative sales approach.
  • Property & Casualty insurance carrier experience is preferred.
  • A passion for supporting partner agencies.
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Available for occasional travel as needed.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and value-based selling skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage both large and small audiences, remotely or in-person.
  • Experience in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Demonstrated strong sales results.
