Requirements

  • 6+ years of Agency, Business Development/Partnerships, and/or Sales experience leading businesses or accounts
  • Successful experience working in or with media & creative agencies
  • Personal network in place with agency contacts
  • Proven track record of successfully growing quarter revenue through the development of strategic relationships
  • Strong understanding of Spotify user behaviour, product and targeting suite & the ability to translate technical or complicated ideas into ordinary and simple terms
  • Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support and drive deliverable timelines from key internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for developing high-impact presentations and leading scaled initiatives
  • Delivery of assigned agency partners’ company quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Strong experience and understanding of the local agency market dynamics
  • Proven success in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Fluent English & Portuguese language, spoken and written
  • Agency development experience including agency and/or client experience, account management and sales
  • Partnership development, deal negotiation, agency relationships
  • Deep interest and passion for digital media, music, podcasts and innovation
  • Autonomous sales person with established track record of building trusted relationships and solutions-oriented approach

Responsibilities

  • Be the liaison across an agency portfolio, internal advocate and represent Spotify with a specific focus on key holdco and/or operating company relationships, with the local Sales teams
  • Identify agency areas of focus that align with Spotify solutions to drive immediate revenue, media innovation audio and video engagement
  • Responsible for agency contact mapping, delivery of business reviews and scaled education programmes
  • Work cohesively with other locally based Agency Development Managers to execute the agency go to market strategy
  • Partner closely with key vertical and automation teams to ensure strategic and commercial elements are driving towards our prioritized business goals
  • Ensure dissemination of information to the appropriate Spotify teams as well as fast premium service response
  • Drive revenue across your agency portfolio. Proactively identify opportunities for client partners to collaborate
  • Lead integration into country vertical structure, in particular with Client Partners and uncover the next generation of Enterprise customers
  • Showcase all the technological and data assets available to drive business goals for our largest podcast agency partners and their clients on our platform
