Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)
  • Good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment or turbine aeroderivative technology
  • Impressive customer service-orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions
  • Skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
  • Good English knowledge
  • EU Passport or a European Work permit
  • Available to travel globally 70% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality
  • Performing all mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, repair or replacement of parts as directed
  • Using hand tools and small power tools to conduct general maintenance of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines
  • Executing hands-on job duties on site, including sub-contractor coordination and customer/internal communication
  • Troubleshooting complicated mechanical and hydraulic problems on variable pitch/variable speed turbines
  • Overseeing, overhauling, troubleshooting and commissioning of Aeroderivative products at customer sites
  • Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions
  • Leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard as the first point of contact for global customers on-site
