Position Overview

As a member of the Solution Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Solution Sales and driving revenue. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This is a hands-on technical consultant position requiring both breadth and depth in solution delivery and positioning during sales cycles.


Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Act as a technical and domain expert for the client-facing sales team.
  • Solution Development & Positioning: Develop, position, and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
  • Discovery & Demonstration: Lead discovery workshops to understand customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations that align our solutions with customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and internal ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Product Feedback: Provide feedback to product management on product enhancements that address customer needs and add value.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team efficiency and quality.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Event Support: Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in a specific product area.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working effectively with Sales counterparts.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $131,925 to $217,725 (guideline, actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location).
  • Incentive Compensation: Sales positions typically offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
  • Equity: Potential for equity (when applicable).
