Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical service and customer support, with a strong emphasis on experience with Freestyle platforms and National Food Service customers such as McDonald’s and Burger King, demonstrating troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of equipment installation requirements, including electrical power, water, drain, airflow, and space requirements, is also required, along with knowledge of dispensing equipment installation principles and basic refrigeration. Additionally, candidates must have knowledge of basic electricity, including amperage, voltage, and current, and the ability to detect and assess electrical problems.

Responsibilities

The Advisor, Technical Advisor will troubleshoot equipment issues via telephone and video to minimize customer downtime and reduce service expenses, diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools, create and maintain records and documentation, document customer support issues in Salesforce, assist in the development of technical documentation, assist other technicians in equipment repair and maintenance, perform preventive maintenance, research and resolve issues for customers and business partners, and perform telecommuting duties while maintaining a professional experience for customers.
