Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or University degree in marketing, business, or communications (or related fields)
Experience in project & budget management
Experience in Biotech, specializing in events
Knowledge of latest technology in events automation and customer experience
Knowledge in analytics and ROI reporting capabilities
Ability to travel – 25% travel both national and international
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities

Producing and executing events to amplify Abcam’s brand image, increase customer engagement, and demonstrate position as a thought leader within industry
Collaborating with regional and global stakeholders, including Product, Sales, and Regional Field Marketing Teams to ensure alignment on brand positioning values and business goals
Engaging across teams to maximize presence, messaging, and efficiency
Managing a budget and executing marketing plans for each event
Driving event attendance, compiling & creating content, planning agendas, and managing attendee registration where necessary
Owning vendor relationships including contract negotiations
Managing day-to-day operations including lead capture, exhibit house management, storage, literature & swag for global use
Connecting the impact of events back to the business strategy
